Synopsis:
An international and intercultural film crew embarks on a journey to document ancient practices with contemporary skills to meet the needs of our time.
It is a positive infusion of wisdom and support for the practitioner, and life changing for the recipient.
Based on a book by Traditional Tibetan physician, Dr. Jampa Yonten
From a Tibetan view, though seeds of compassion are innate in humans, one needs to be trained in compassion for effective and lasting results.
Dr. Yonten is an experienced physician with over twenty-five years in practice and was awarded a gold medal by the Indian Board of Alternative Medicine.

Kenya Gillespie
Kenya Gillespie is a Japanese American filmmaker and composer based in Austin, TX. His short film Jeremiah premiered at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for the Queer Palm. Kenya’s work has won multiple awards, including Best Score at the Brooklyn Horror Film Festival. He is a four-time recipient of the Austin Film Society Grant, with films screening at international festivals. Kenya holds degrees from Yale, Rice, and the University of Texas at Austin, and is a lecturer at Texas State University.

Dr. Jampa Yonten
Dr. Jampa Yonten is the Medical Director of the Tibetan Healing and Wellness Center in Bangalore, India, and an expert in Tibetan Medicine. He studied under Dr. Trogawa Rinpoche and has received Medicine Buddha empowerment from many renowned Rinpoches, including His Holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama. Dr. Yonten teaches and practices Tibetan Medicine internationally and was awarded a Gold Medal by the Indian Board of Alternative Medicine.

Terri Nash MS, CPM (ret)
Terri Nash has over 40 years of experience in midwifery and holistic care, specializing in Tibetan Medicine. She began her studies under Dr. Yeshe Dhonden and continues advanced training with Dr. Jampa Yonten. Terri has led maternal-infant care projects in Tibet and writes extensively on holistic healing and Tibetan philosophy, while pursuing advanced studies in Tibetan philosophy with Geshe Damdul Dorjee.
