"Compassion as Remedy"

A documentary exploring how Traditional Tibetan Medicine integrates compassion into modern healthcare

Still 19.jpg

"Compassion As Remedy" is a quiet revolution about healthcare, ethics and spiritual practice.

Synopsis:

An international and intercultural film crew embarks on a journey to document ancient practices with contemporary skills to meet the needs of our time.

It is a positive infusion of wisdom and support for the practitioner, and life changing for the recipient.

Based on a book by Traditional Tibetan physician, Dr. Jampa Yonten

From a Tibetan view, though seeds of compassion are innate in humans, one needs to be trained in compassion for effective and lasting results.

Dr. Yonten is an experienced physician with over twenty-five years in practice and was awarded a gold medal by the Indian Board of Alternative Medicine.
